There are things to do but much to say…

The most recent switch brought about by Bagyong Walay brought quite a lot of opposing reactions. Some deemed it a good move to mix up the houses and add spice to what seemed a predictable relationship. Others felt it was unnecessary, and brought more harm than good. The housemates inevitably clashed and had to push themselves to adjust to their new surroundings. Everyone experienced discomfort, with one more than others.
Rica, a transgender, had no problems with her original housemates. She was well-appreciated for who and what she is. This did not seem to hold true in the other house, though, and the treatment she has been receiving there prodded the Society of Transsexuals of the Philippines to make a statement about it. In the statement, they brought the situation to the forefront and questions how PBB seems to be condoning such actions.
Melai was likewise concerned with the growing discomfort of Rica within the house. She feared that Rica may be pushed to exit the house. Rica assured her, however, that she had such thought. She valued the efforts of the people around her who did much to make her PBB experience possible. True, she was affected by the treatment of others and felt the burden of co-existing with them. If she did get booted out, then she would accept it. Otherwise, she had no plans of giving up the game.
Rica was part of today’s winning team. After both houses went through the obstacle course, Kuya finally gathered everyone in the living room as he declared the winning team. With a total running time of 3 minutes and 36 seconds, House B would be rewarded with a film showing of “New Moon”, the latest movie release of the Twilight saga. House A accepted the news well, with the boys taking it lightly and the girls keeping their post-game analysis to a minimum.
